June 14, 2006 Meeting Minutes

Scott Foremaster chaired the meeting.

Attendees: Scott Foremaster, Don Marpe, Chris Wilken, Tommy Barrios, Robert von Dullen, Richard and Elizabeth Martin, Scott Prince

The following topics were discussed:

• The idea of a “rush” type of event was floated by Richard Martin at the last meeting and was re-visited at this meeting. It was decided that we would hold an event at a location on the northshore (most likely at a wine shop) approximately one month before our September DE. The goal of this event is to encourage new Porsche owners to attend and discover what the PCA is all about. Chris Wilken volunteered to organize the event and Richard Martin agreed to pay any costs associated with the mailing of invitations.

• The need for volunteers for our November club race was once again discussed as well as the need for further sponsors and or donations for giveaways and door prizes.
  
  
• Announced that we will be holding an open house type of event (with perhaps a tech day) at the new Greff Motors location with the date to be announced in the near future (most likely within the next six weeks).
